Coed and Women's Adult Volleyball Leagues
The Fieldhouse offers women's and coed leagues for both competitive and recreational play. There are two 8-week sessions in the fall and winter, and a 6-week session in the spring.
Mondays: Coed Rec (Women’s height net, guys cannot spike)
Tuesday: Women’s B & C
Wednesdays: Women’s B
Thursdays: Coed Power (Men’s height net, guys can spike) and Coed Rec (Women’s height net, guys cannot spike)
Coed Volleyball Tournaments
The Bye Week Block Party is an annual event that takes place during the bye week for Nebraska Football. Teams consist of three men and three women each. The tournament format involves pool play followed by a single elimination tournament. Each team is guaranteed to play four matches. Teams are also required to officiate select games and provide one up official, one down official, two line judges, and a scorekeeper.
Deck the Hall with Balls of Volley Tournament
Looking to burn off some of those holiday calories? Join our annual mid-December tournament! Each team consists of three men and three women. The tournament will begin with pool play, followed by a single-elimination tournament. Your team is guaranteed to play four matches. As part of the requirements, your team will officiate select games and provide one up official, one down official, two line judges, and a scorekeeper. Get ready to have some fun and show off your skills!
Smash & Dash Volleyball Tournament
Start your year off right by participating in the Smash & Dash Tournament. The tournament is scheduled for the third week of January and consists of teams made up of three men and three women. The tournament will begin with pool play, followed by a single elimination tournament. Each team is guaranteed to play four matches. Additionally, teams will be required to officiate select games, providing one up official, one down official, two line judges, and one scorekeeper.
Join us for the biggest adult volleyball tournament in Grand Island! The tournament is scheduled to take place in February and will offer both a coed tournament on Saturday and a women's tournament on Sunday, played at multiple locations. The tournament format will include pool play, followed by a single-elimination tournament. Each team is guaranteed to play four matches. Teams will also be required to officiate select games and provide one up official, down official, two line judges, and a scorekeeper. Awards will be presented to the 1st and 2nd place teams in both gold and silver brackets.
Pickleball
Come join one of the fastest growing sports! Pickleball is great for all ages. The Fieldhouse will offer open gym, no preregistration required. Open pickleball times are as followed:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10:00am - 1:00pm
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10:00am-3:00pm
(subject to court availability, prescheduled rentals take priority)
Line Dancing
If you want to learn all the old and new line dances, a local wedding DJ is offering instruction. It's a fun way to get a workout in and all ages and abilities are welcome. The classes will be held in the large meeting room and there is no need to register. The fee is $6.
Coed Indoor Soccer
Get ready for a thrilling new coed indoor soccer league at The Fieldhouse! This 5v5 league is designed to meet the growing demand for more soccer in our community. With a shorter playing field, smaller nets, and a paid referee, teams can expect a fast-paced and exciting soccer experience. The games will be held on Wednesday nights, so mark your calendar and join us for some great soccer action!
Men's Flag Football League
“Go Deep” in Central Nebraska’s largest indoor field. New state of the art turf field without dasher boards brings the outdoor game inside! Games will be played on Sunday afternoons and evenings.
5v5 Basketball League
Keep your legs fresh with our 5v5 Men's Basketball leagues in the Fall and Winter. The league will be call-your-own foul. Season consists of pool play, followed by a single elimination tournament. $150/team, space is limited.
